Safety aspect is well considered with a provision of Kensington-lock that prevents alien access to the system. Iiyama monitors works well with Apple-Macintosh computers. The audio aspect is well thought of and the unit is provided with a 2 x 2W speakers. Separate synchronisation is made possible in this LCD monitor. VESA DDC2B supports plug and play function.

This unit supports Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP and Vista as the operating system. In order for the unit to work it requires a voltage of 100 to 240VAC / 50 to 60Hz with a power consumption of 65W on operation and 2W on stand by mode. Internal power adaptors are supplied with VESA DPMS, Energy Star as the power management features. It works on temperatures of 5 to 35°C and a humidity range of 10 to 80%.
